Biography

A Passion for Opera

Ille Saar is a soprano from Estonia who graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater in 2019. She participated in the Erasmus student exchange program at Milan Conservatory G. Verdi and continued her Master’s studies as a scholarship holder of the Republic of Italy. Ille has debuted in lead roles in several operas and won various awards, including the “Marje and Kuldar Sink Young Singer 2019 Award”. She has performed in concerts and festivals in Italy, Germany, San Marino, and Lithuania. In 2022, she took part in the master class of Anna Pirozzi and was admitted to the Academy of the Theatre of Modena Pavarotti-Freni.

"Ille Saar impresses with the quality and volume of her voice, which she uses in the most significant repertoire of Italian melodrama."
The technical uniformity and freedom of her voice in both the lower and high tessitura allows for the convincing performance of both romantic and dramatic soprano roles (of the operatic repertoire).
